Accuracy is part of the product. When we make a material mistake, we correct it clearly and promptly.
Incorrect names, dates, locations, prices, figures, quotations, source descriptions, event details, and materially misleading context.
Reply to any Delco Rundown email and include the issue date, story or section, disputed detail, and supporting source when available.
We review the original source packet, check primary sources, contact relevant parties when needed, and determine whether clarification or correction is warranted.
We fix the archived web version, add a visible correction note stating what changed and when, and include the correction in the next edition when the error could materially affect readers.
Organizers sometimes change or cancel events after publication. We clearly label post-publication organizer changes separately from editorial mistakes.
We do not silently alter material facts. Routine spelling or formatting fixes, however, do not require a correction note.
